These are the words of John Muir, conservationist and glaciologist of the 1800s. Muir Intuitively understood the connected nature of the universe and saw the destruction inflicted on the planet. So much so that their call to action led to Yosemite being designated as a National Park. He was a pioneer for changing attitudes towards the environment and now more than ever we are hearing the echoes of his wisdom, we know the damage we are causing and the drive to create change is accelerating. The question is, is it enough?

From every John Muir portrait sold £10 will plant a tree in Mossy Earth's Farois project.
This project is re-introducing native and pioneer species to Ireland, restoring the history of a land once covered by forest and providing a resilient and varied habitat and a carbon sink to offset emissions.

I've worked for enough people in the past who put profits before its people, and with no regard to the fact that we share this planet. So with transparency in mind, here is a breakdown of the price tag:
£2.20- Printing costs.
£4.80- P&P.
£0.40 - advertising (estimated).
£10.00 - To Mossy Earth to plant a tree.
£4.60 - Goes to me, the illustrator, so I can eat, so I can make the next thing, so I can try and make what I do more useful for the world.
( UK only- sorry but international shipping defeats the purpose of this project, supplied rolled in a fully recyclable cardboard tube. )
